Abacus Technology is seeking a Risk Management Analyst to support risk identification, analysis, and mitigation strategy for Marshall Space Flight Center. This is a full time position.

Provide independent systems engineering support associated with the development and evaluation of complex risk management strategies and other systems engineering functions. Mentor team members (e.g. lower level schedulers and others from the project office, engineering, etc.) in risk assessment utilizing Root Source Analyses, other methodologies, and use of risk tools. Provide direct support, expertise, and mentoring in the sound assessment and management of risks for programs, projects, and customers. Support development of risk statements and risk mitigation plans. Support and participate in trade studies and decision tree development. Support and participate in program/project product review meetings. Prepare and present risk traceability and rationale.

15+ years experience including risk management for Federal government programs. Master's degree in a related field. Experience in risk management and decision analysis. Proven experience performing risk identification; impact determination and assessments; projections; categorizations; planning and mitigation; calculations and algorithms for risk assessment and decision making; risk management and planning; and ongoing monitoring and management. Able to develop, implement, and maintain a Risk Management System. Experience in risk management for NASA a plus. Must be a US citizen.
