Abacus Technology is seeking a Scheduler to support project tracking and management for Marshall Space Flight Center. This is a full-time position.
Provide support to distribute, manage, and coordinate technical schedules for large scale and medium scale programs to include Integrated Management Plans (IMPs) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs). Analyze budget and resource requirements for programs/projects in order to assure cost and schedule compatibility, and to manage impacts resulting from changes to project scope and resource requirements.
10-15 years experience supporting projects through scheduling and coordination. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Experience with the implementation and management of integrated scheduling tools to support project control personnel in the integration of schedule and resource data through resource loaded schedules within an automated schedule management tool. Must have a background in supporting technical tasks and project management functions according to the complete project life cycle. Must be able to work closely with technical teams and government program managers with equal efficiency. Thorough understanding of EIA-748 standard EVM principles as they relate to schedule and technical performance measures. Extensive experience with MS Project or similar tool. Must be highly motivated, assertive, and possess excellent communication skills. Must be a US citizen.
