Job Title: Fire Protection Fabricator

Job Summary: Fabricate pipe for fire protection systems by cutting, threading, and weld checking each pipe, then bundling pipe for each job.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and assemble pipe per instructions
• Read parts list and determine if all parts are present
• Assemble tools, materials, and various components
• Use various types of machinery
• Ensure all parts are fitted and screwed in properly
• Interpret measurements and verify specifications
• Resolve assembly and production issues and errors, with management's assistance
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs as needed
• Ensure working environment is clean and promotes safety
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Ability to:

• Read a tape measure down to a "
• Push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Stand, bend, twist, and walk for 8- to 12-hour shifts
• Pass a drug test
• Follow directions and cooperate with others

Have good:

• Attention to detail
• Attendance and a positive attitude
• Work ethic and a willingness to learn

Must be:

• Able to work Saturdays
• Able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in written form
• 18 years or older
