Job Description

Advanced Systems Design is seeking a Systems Administrator for our client located in Montgomery, AL.

Job Overview:

The Systems Administrator will be required to perform advanced applied and developmental technical work in data systems design and maintenance. The Systems Administrator will analyze, develop, design, modify, implement, and/or maintain operating systems, server-based applications, and/or database systems. Work involves assignment as a generalist performing in multiple areas typically supporting complex IT systems. The Systems Administrator will also support other IT units through various communication mediums for complex troubleshooting and application support.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of system administration experience.
  • Requires a high level of expertise in multiple system environments.
  • Active directory administration: Create, manage, audit, and assign user account access rights to applications.
  • Group Policy.
  • VMware.
  • Experience with monitoring and maintaining backups.
  • Experience with Office 365 email.
  • Power shell.
  • Technical writing to document system implementation, design, and user training.
  • Manage and maintain data center infrastructure.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field.

Relevant equivalent work experience above the minimum required
