Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work on-site of our customers in an end user support capacity providing exceptional customer service.

Here's what you'll do:
  • Our Desktop Support Technician will perform a variety of duties in support of end users for IT hardware and/or software.
  • Using knowledge in all aspects of computer design, functionality, system operation, and infrastructure.
  • Desktop Technicians will be handling moving equipment between sites, imaging, refreshes, data migrations, etc. Could include some break/fix work.
Here's what you'll get:
Pay: $25.50/hr
Hours: 9x80 schedule, Full-time
Length: Long term contract, opportunity of extension

** This role will train in Huntsville for 2 weeks, and then regular work site will be in Courtland **
Job Requirements
Here's what requirements you'll need:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience migrating workstations to WIN 9 or 10
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience demonstrating professional desktop support history with a variety of platforms / systems / applications and tools to include Operating system expertise - Windows, Unix/Linux, Apple, Network protocol and Image loading protocol
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with LAN/NETWORK connectivity, and basic network connectivity assessment for troubleshooting or setups
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in connectivity and telecommunications/networking

  • Evaluates and tests software programs to verify functionality according to specifications and standards
  • Demonstrates excellent Customer Service
  • Install and configure network devices (i.e. network printers, scanners, plotters, PCs, etc.). Troubleshoot problems with network printing and scanning devices. Perform data termination/ activation in telecommunication closets aka network connect (activation of data drops).
  • Repair and replace data connectors on network cables and data drops.
  • Assist in the relocation of customer employees on the facility (move PCs and activate data drops in new location).Troubleshoot network issues with PCs and LAN (duplex mismatches, duplicate IPs, corrupt firewall software, proxy configuration issues, etc.)
  • Assist with imaging of laptops and PCs for deployment.
Additional Information:
