Our Building Engineering market provides design and commissioning services for clients across the country. We are a full-service engineering team consisting of Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Technology design disciplines. Our team also provides Sustainability and Resiliency consulting as well as third party Commissioning services. From designing award winning hospitals, delivering sustainable design solutions for large aviation projects or commissioning large complex industrial projects, the opportunities for growth are unlimited within our Building Engineering group, and we invite you to join us!


We are seeking a Project Executive for our Building Engineering market with experience winning and managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects and clients. This role can be based out of the Nashville, Orlando, Tampa or Birmingham office.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop tactical plans to identify new strategic clients and business relationships; foster current client and business relationships; monitor client satisfaction, pursue leads, and assure clients of their value and importance to the firm.
  • Coordinate with the Executive Vice President (EVP) to identify key pursuits critical to Building Engineering market growth.
  • Successfully win new work; help build our client portfolio.
  • Monitor market trends and forecast key skill sets and capabilities needed in anticipation of ever-changing client demand and expectations.
  • Maintain healthy client relationships and possess solid operational insight for driving projects and executing deliverables.
  • Identify project goals and clearly communicate them to project teams to ensure client expectations are consistently achieved. Guide Project Managers and Project Teams in achieving client expectations.
  • Recognized as a credible leader with strong technical, project leadership & client management experience related to the industry.
  • Be skilled in professional persuasion and effective negotiation.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering and 8+ years of job-related experience required. Professional licensure is desired.
  • Must be exceptional in written and oral communication, with the ability to lead, develop and deliver highly persuasive presentations that build client confidence and result in securing favorable design contracts.
  • Successful project management experience managing multi-disciplinary (higher education, healthcare, industrial, commercial) projects with highly satisfied clients.
  • Evidence of strong team leadership, consistently high-quality deliverables, and routinely strong financial outcomes.
  • Develop new client relationships and maintain healthy relationships with existing clients
  • Provide solid operational insight and a commitment to quality for driving projects and executing deliverables
