Job Description
Position is responsible to provide oversite and guidance to operations and safety management regarding compliance with Warrior Met Coal Safety Policies, federal and state mining laws.

Job Objective
- Work with site management (Operations and Safety) to establish processes and procedures to maintain compliance with federal and state mining regulations.
Essential Functions
- Examine surface and underground areas of the mine, records, citations and provide feedback and guidance to site management (Operations and Safety) regarding compliance with Warrior Met Coal Safety Policies, federal and state mining laws.
- Evaluate citations in conjunction with Safety Manager for validity, gravity and provide guidance and direction on conferencing and contesting citations.
- Evaluate citation conference sheets (completed by company personnel traveling with inspectors) for appropriate information.
- Provide guidance and direction to Safety Managers.
- Interaction with the Director of Accident Prevention to reduce and eliminate accidents and injuries.
- Other duties as directed by management.
