Job Description
We are currently seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our Project and Development Services team in the Huntsville, AL area. As a Project Manager at JLL, you will be directly responsible for executing construction projects through JLL's processes and strategic leadership. Leveraging a national platform will allow you to focus on and lead industry changing projects. Your knowledge of construction projects from Pre-construction and Design Management to Occupancy/Commissioning and Closeout, will speak to your holistic approach to client needs. Your influence will be founded in facilitating critical stakeholder meetings, providing on-site project leadership and applying financial acumen to meet client goals.

* Face-to-face, regular interpersonal interaction as well as virtual meetings are required to perform the job.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage projects for decommission, renovation and new construction and tenant improvement from initiate to closeout. Project include secure spaces compliant with ICD 705, and non-secure spaces.
* Kick-off construction projects, identify stake holders, and support the client during scope and program development. Provide pricing scenarios as needed to narrow the project's scope.
* Develop and maintain Project Schedules and manage the successful execution of projects so that completion falls within intended timeframes.
* Develop and monitor construction budgets and create cost saving opportunities for the client.
* Forecast spend on construction projects quarterly and yearly.
* Evaluate project risks and prepare mitigation plans.
* Ensure project delivery complies with Heath, Safety and Environmental requirements.
* Ensure project team meets the established timelines & requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
* Manage the design process as well as Architects, Interior Designers, Consultants, Engineers, Testing Agencies, and Commissioning Agents, among others.
* Prepare RFP's needed for vendor and contractor services as well as manage the contractor, vendor selection process.
* Serve as liaison between the client, finance team and vendors.
* Collaborate across all JLL platforms including transaction managers, facilities managers, building engineers, occupancy planners, low voltage managers, and move managers, among others.
* Highly organized with strong analytical skills.
* Apply technology to drive change and provide data accuracy for reporting.
* Proficiency in the use and application of project management technology tools (i.e. MS Project, Excel, etc.) and continually seek opportunities to develop your skillset.
* Ensure project closeouts and invoices are completed within established Client SLA for assigned Programs.
* Champion safety by ensuring JLL guidelines are followed.
* Experience with industrial and manufacturing facilities a plus. Experience building secure spaces compliant with ICD 705 desired.
* Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.

Education & Experience
* (5+) years of relevant experience related to construction management and/or general contracting.
* Experience with MEP Systems a plus
* A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or equivalent.
* Corporate Real Estate/Office project management experience preferred.
