We are currently recruiting highly qualified candidates, whose background and career goals meet our needs, for the following position in our Huntsville, AL facility. Please note that due to our Department of Defense contract requirements,U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.

Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to perform the essential job duties and functions listed below with the overall objective of improving the Organizations overall business value. This is an entry level position with a potential career path to Contract Administrator. As an Associate, you will spend 85% of your time participating in critical, routine duties and responsibilities, while the remainder of your time will be spent shadowing and training with experienced Contract Administrators.

Position Title:Associate Contracts Administrator

Job Purpose:

Responsible for managing multiple databases and customer portals. Responsible for verification of Contract Review Records (CRRs) and Purchase Orders (POs), and associated paperwork to prepare a complete contract package in Oracle, as well as responsible for updating Oracle for new Orders and Modifications. Maintains and retrieves contract documents as needed. Checks submitted documents for completeness and compliance with federal or state regulations and company policy. Responsible for helping maintain accurate recording of PO actions as well as internal audits.

Nature of Duties:

Primary: 85%

  • Responsible for verification of CRR and POs, and associated paperwork to prepare a complete contract package in Oracle.
  • Maintains and retrieves contract documents as needed.
  • Checks submitted documents for completeness and compliance with federal or state regulations and company policy.
  • Responsible for managing multiple databases

Secondary: 15%

  • Participate in high performance team training
  • Shadow experienced Contract Administrators to train and learn essential contract management skills regarding proposal analysis, negotiations, risk assessments, contract types, terms and conditions, FAR and DFAR requirements, customer communication, and cradle-to-grave contract management.

Education and Experience:

  • Requires an Associate's Degree or its equivalent and 0-2 years of Oracle related experience.
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Performs audits of own work or that of others to ensure conformance with established procedures.
  • Detail oriented, organized.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
