We are seeking a System Security Engineer who will develop and demonstrate system security and hardware engineering analysis. This can include system failure analysis, full systems engineering, FPGA/ASIC/Digital Design, Semiconductor manufacturing, and anti-tamper solutions to address global security threats for our government customer. You will have the opportunity to provide innovative solutions able to adapt to board-level design and embedded system design and testing experience to counter known security threats. You will be surrounded by a team of subject matter experts and be able to provide a broad technical skillset that can help derive requirements for projects. You will understand and evaluate state-of-the-art embedded systems (e.g., Intel or AMD), commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) boards, and mixed-signal/RF-based technologies from a security perspective. You will apply security technology integration and development experience to develop and evaluate security technologies.

Required

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or relevant field

  • Minimum 2 years related experience

  • Experience with Hardware Engineering (Board Design)

  • Knowledge of FPGA/ASIC/Digital Design

  • Willingness to learn new skill sets and technologies

  • Some travel

  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

Desired

  • Flexibility to understand, evaluate, and integrate a variety of security technologies, reverse engineering, and vulnerability analysis

  • Experience with system design, verification, qualification, and reliability testing for DoD environments

  • Experience with Trusted and Assured Microelectronics

  • Experience with system security technologies to counter threats against microelectronic components

  • Experience with Hardware-based cybersecurity and defense

  • Knowledge of physics-based modeling (e.g., ANSYS)
