Advantage Resourcing is hiring an experienced Machinist for a machining shop in Dothan, AL.

Pay: $16-$18 per hour

1st Shift Hours: 7 am - 5 pm, Monday-Friday

As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machining tools to manufacture precision parts and instruments. Additionally, you will fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines, utilizing knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have experience working with fabrication equipment (milling, drilling, lathe, and tool handling), possess strong comprehension skills, excellent layout skills, aptitude in mathematics and measurements, the ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and charts, create from shop sketches/drawings, adhere to quality and safety standards, withstand long periods of standing, and lift up to 50 pounds when required.
