The individual selected for this position will assist Infection Preventionist with all aspects of the infection control program including, but not limited to development, planning, maintaining, or completing projects involved with infection prevention, control, and biosecurity and contribute to broader public health initiatives in the college. Minimum Qualifications | Depending on the combination of education and experience, the selected finalist will be hired as an Infection Control Assistant and assigned level I, II, or III. Level I requires a bachelor's degree in public health or related science field. Level II requires a bachelor's degree in public health or related science field plus 2 years of experience in research practices and protocols. Level III requires a bachelor's degree in public health or related science field plus 4 years of experience in research practices and protocols, including at least 2 years at the preceding level or equivalent. Level IV requires a bachelor's degree in public health or related science field plus 6 years of experience in research practices and protocols, including at least 2 years at the preceding level or equivalent. Substitutions allowed for Education: Indicated education is required; no substitutions allowed. Substitutions allowed for Experience: When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience. |
