Financial Controls Analyst
Charlotte, NC OR West Des Moines, IA
3 + Months

Onsite Day 1: Hybrid Model: 3 Days Onsite Per Week!

Notes:
Our team preforms financial reviews.
We issue written risk ratings with a detail overview of a breakdown of the statement and then get an overall picture with the suppliers.
We need someone to step in and have a solid understanding of financial statements and reviews.
This person will help with admin pieces for the analysts on the team as well.
They will go in and look at services requests from the supplier community.
We need someone that can go through and review the requests, looking at the documentation provided and doing a quick overview that makes sure it meets the minimum requirements.
They will also provide guidance on what next steps are needed to the requesters.
CPA would be nice but definitely not a must have
Finance or accounting type background is what we are looking for
We work with a broad range of industries so specific industry experience is not required

Job Description:
Financial Controls:
Covers jobs responsible for identifying, documenting, and implementing financial control and oversight matters.
Individuals lead and/or execute testing and monitoring initiatives for assigned control areas.

In this role, you will:
Consult with the line of business and enterprise functions on financial reporting or information technology governance, and controls and oversight matters
Identify compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
Provide oversight for testing and monitoring involving moderate to complex subject matter or control areas
Communicate and provide consultation regularly with stakeholders throughout the enterprise
Implement, operate, and report results of certain elements of the company's policy, governance and oversight framework
Support implementation of moderate to complex projects and initiatives
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:
Strong communication skills.
Proficient in MS excel and work.
Excellent research skillset.
